Clark sworn in as MCC board trustee, District 7

Dr. Dennis Clark was sworn in at the Feb. 27, 2024 board meeting as the newest member of the McLennan Community College Board of Trustees, District 7 position.

Clark served as an MCC employee/veterinarian with the Veterinary Technology program from January 2013 to May 2023 and was a part-time instructor and continuing education instructor at MCC from 2003-2013. Currently, Clark is President/CEO of Equine Performance Veterinarians, PLLC.

“I believe in the mission of MCC to create educational opportunities for the citizens of McLennan County,” said Clark. “I have been a student, employee, and supporter of MCC since I moved to McLennan County in November 2001. My involvement with different industries and businesses has shown me the outreach and impact MCC has, and I wish to see the impact not only continue but to grow as our community continues to grow.”

Clark was selected by the Board of Trustees to fill the unexpired District 7 term when former Trustee Geneva Watley resigned from the board on Dec. 31, 2023. District 7 includes the following precincts: 51 (partial), 55, 62, 63 (partial), 75, 76, 77, 78 (partial), 79, and 80.
